Completed priestesses/warrior nuns and Nemean soldier (minus her wings).

The battle nuns wear light armour, with their striking arm well protected. Their shield arm seems vulnerable, however, the glove on this hand is set with a magic stone that has the same effect as a ‘ring of shielding’, granting a +4 shield bonus to AC as it generates a circular shield of force with a 2ft radius. The morning stars are simple +1 weapons, ideal for beating down sinners and smashing the glass on cryogenic tubes/causing the destruction of reality (‘you foolish fool!’ etc). I re-used the same drawing for the two nuns (with some minor alterations) as I quite like palette swaps in games like ‘Golden Axe’ and ‘Streets of Rage’ and the like 🙂

The Nemean wields a blade of holy flame and wears armour made from a super light alloy created from metals mined in the celestial realm. A layer of cow hide is added over this, taken from the herds of celestial cattle that the Nemeans tend in their home pocket dimension. This hide retains its celestial properties, granting additional protections including resistance to certain elements and damage reduction against most attacks. Added to the Nemean’s already formidable defences ( an all but impenetrable hide-particularly against missile attacks) along with the incredible strength and skill of these leonine warriors and even a single Nemean legionary is seemingly invincible by the standards of a mortal warrior.

Production’s going okay. I have one page finished, another page nearly done and I’ve started drawing a third page. hopefully by Wednesday I’ll have three pages completed 🙂 I’m thinking of starting up again in February but only posting one page per week in that month and then going to a full 2 pages per week again form March. Otherwise I may keep posting filler up until two weeks into Feb and then go to a full 2 pages per week release again then. The first option seems like the best one as it means less waiting around for things to resume.
